These terms apply whenever you order from Ergon Games, operated by Ergon Creations Limited (Company No. 10979845), registered at 3 Lloyds Way, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, CV37 0SG, UK. By placing an order, you're agreeing to them. You'll need to be 18 or older, or ordering with a parent or guardian's OK.
Orders & pricing
All prices are shown in USD; sales tax is added at checkout based on your shipping state, same as any US retailer. I try to keep prices and stock levels accurate, but mistakes happen occasionally — if something's mispriced or unavailable, I'll contact you before processing your order rather than silently charging the wrong amount.
Your order is a request to buy; I'll send a confirmation email once it's placed, but the contract between us isn't formed until your order is dispatched. I reserve the right to correct pricing/description errors or cancel an order (with a full refund) if something's genuinely wrong on my end.
Payment
Payments are processed securely through Stripe, PayPal, and WooCommerce Payments. I don't see or store your full card details — that's handled entirely by the payment processor.

Product descriptions
I do my best to photograph and describe every mat accurately, but screens vary and I'm one person doing this myself — small differences in color or texture between what you see online and what arrives aren't grounds for a claim of misrepresentation, though if something's genuinely wrong I'll always sort it out (see Delivery & Returns).
No promises beyond what's stated
Beyond what I've explicitly told you about a product (and your rights under US consumer law for faulty or misdescribed goods), I'm not making any other guarantees, written or implied, about fitness for a particular purpose or use — this is a one-person game mat business, not a warranty program. If something's actually wrong with what you received, I'll fix it; that commitment doesn't extend to "I changed my mind about the color" territory beyond the returns window.
Limits on what I'm liable for
If something genuinely goes wrong with an order, the most I'm on the hook for is the price you paid for that order — I can't reasonably carry liability for indirect knock-on costs (like a cancelled game night) beyond that. This doesn't limit your rights where a mat is faulty, damaged, or not as described; it's aimed at capping the more far-fetched claims that a defensive-sounding terms page exists to head off in the first place.
Using this site responsibly
Please don't try to break, scrape, resell access to, or otherwise misuse this site. If you do something that gets me into legal trouble — misusing the site, violating someone else's rights, that sort of thing — you agree to cover the costs that causes me. This is standard practice, not a threat; it's just not fair for one person's misuse to become my problem to pay for.
Intellectual property
The Ergon Games name, logo, and mat designs are the property of Ergon Games. Please don't reproduce or resell them without permission.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms occasionally — the current version here is always the one that applies. Nothing changes retroactively for an order you've already placed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, since that's where Ergon Games (Ergon Creations Limited) is registered — this applies regardless of which country you're ordering from.
